Kaplan Hecker & Fink is pleased to share that David Patton will soon be joining the firm as a partner, resident in our New York office. He will join KHF after serving as the Executive Director and Attorney-in-Chief of the Federal Defenders of New York since 2011.
The news was reported by the The New York Times DealBook today. KHF Partner Sean Hecker commented for the article, sharing that there is "'perfect synergy' with Patton, given the firm’s commitment to public interest." Patton said joining Kaplan Hecker would enable him “to practice law at the highest level — to try cases and to still maintain a strong commitment to public service.”
